Bed bug bites can be even itchier than mosquito bites. You will feel itching immediately after it stings. However, bed bugs are much more irritating than mosquito bites. The saliva of the mosquito contains anesthetics. 

To prevent blood clotting, they inject anticoagulants and anesthetics before sucking blood from your skin. Sometimes, the rash appears as soon as an hour after being bitten. 

Some people notice the rash only a few days after being bitten. It all depends on how the body reacts to chemicals secreted from bed bugs.
